I can't import my customers into Tradify via a CSV file?

There are some things you need to check in the file before importing it.  

Please check the following:

1) Check for any duplicate Customer Names.  You can use Conditional Formatting to highlight these.  In Excel, select the Customer Name column and click on the HOME tab > Conditional Formatting > Highlight Cell Rules > Duplicate Values.

2) Remove or fix the duplicate records

3) Make sure that there is a header row labelling each column

4) Check that there are no duplicate column labels, i.e. Address Column Header is not repeated.  Column labels need to be unique e.g. Address1 Address2 etc.

 

If after checking these aspects in the file, you are still getting an error when trying to import then please send us the file you are trying to import along with details and or a screen shot of the error you are encountering when trying to import the file.  

Send the file and details to support@tradifyhq.com and include your login credentials for Tradify so we can investigate further.
